The list of nominees for the Ghana Music Awards Festival 2013 recently released has the likes of Wizkid, D'banj, P-Square, Flavour, Davido and Iyanya; all in the African Artiste Of The Year category. Jeffrey Atkins known with Ja Rule has regained his freedom today after serving out his sentences for attempted illegal gun possession and tax evasion.

His fans' website confirms the news saying, “The Rule York team is very proud and excited to announce that Ja Rule has been released from prison! Let’s give him a warm welcome. Ja Rule’s Twitter handle is @ruleyork. Though homosexual practice is illegal in Nigeria, it is actually becoming a norm in Nollywood. The Nollywood actress, Vivian Pius who was spotted on the set of Simone’s Production in Festac, Lagos, said that lesbianism is a norm in Nollywood that is not going to stop soon.

“Lesbianism has come to stay in Nollywood. Though it exists in other industries such as banking, medical and others, that of Nollywood is more open to the public because of who we are, as a society`s role models.”
