The talented Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbusun Akande is back from honeymoon. Since she got married to Olumide Akande in January 16, 2011 she has not starred in any movie.

Dakore will star in a movie “Journey to Self” alongside, Ashionye Michelle Raccah (the writer and producer of the movie), Nse Ikpe-Etim, Carol King, Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Brainard, Femi Jacobs, Chris Attoh, Tosin Sido and Katherine Obiang Edoho who will be making her Nollywood debut.

The broadcaster, media entrepreneur and ex-wife of Frank Edoho (the Who Wants to be a Millionaire presenter), Katherine Obiang Edoho will be entering Nollywood with the movie which centers on friendship, sacrifice, empowerment and self-respect.

The movie is all about four friends, Nse (Nse), Regina (Ashionye), Alex (Dakore) and Rume (Katherine), who lose a mutual childhood friend, Uche (Tosin). Uche speaks through a series of letters, inspiring her friends to a journey of self-discovery.

It is expected that “Journey to Self” will be premiered this year.
